Vinyasa Flow
Saturdays, 8:30a - 9:30a
This elegant style of Hatha Yoga seamlessly synchronizes breath and movement. Typically in a Vinyasa Class each yoga posture flows one into the next with shorter periods of holding. Less emphasis on alignment and more emphasis is placed on connecting each movement with breath. These classes feel very fluid and can create more of a physical experience however, Vinyasa Flow is in effect a moving prayer, or meditation in motion. Builds heat, endurance, flexibility, strength, and concentration. Please bring plenty of water. Not recommended for the absolute beginner.
Sol Flow
Thursdays, 8:30a - 9:30a
Sol (Sun) Flow will move through Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations) in full prostration as an offering to nature around us. Awaken your senses and start your day by greeting the sun on Long Pond in this mindful and gentle practice. Meditation, Pranayama (healing breath), Rhythmic Movement (Asanas), Sound Healing (Chanting/Mantra) are incorporated in this practice in order to heal and balance the mind, body, and spirit. This class is perfect for the absolute beginner student, curious pratictioner and anyone seeking a more grounding and mindful morning practice. Please bring plenty of water. All Levels
