By 21, Dave a New Hampshire native, was running his first kitchen at Hermanos Cocina Mexicana in Corcord, as the Executive Chef, and after 6 formative years, moved on to The Common Man Inn and Spa, where he spent another 4 years in one of  New Hampshire most famous pubs.


In 2007 Dave accepted a position with Food & Wine Magazine's Best New Chef Steve Corry, and made the move to  Portland Maine's renowned 555 Restaurant where he cemented his appreciation of the Pine Tree State. Deciding to keep his family here in Central Maine, Dave once again took the helm of  his own kitchen at The Village Inn and Tavern in 2008, and boy are we lucky he loves it here in Vacationland!

Specializing in locally sourced ingredients and seasonally inspired menus showcasing what the best of Maine has to offer, Dave's passion for his craft is world class.
