Born in Washington, DC and raised in New Hampshire, Dave's passion for food began at a young age. 


At 21, he ran his first kitchen at Hermanos Cocina Mexicana in Corcord, NH and after 6 years, he moved on to The Common Man Inn and Spa in Plymouth, NH where he spent 4 years as their Sous Chef. 


In 2007 Dave made the move to Portland's 555, where he worked under Food & Wine Magazine's Best New Chef of 2007, Steve Corry. Once again ready to manage his own kitchen, Dave accepted the position of Executive Chef at The Village Inn and Tavern in 2008 and the rest is history!
